Every time I get low my Top Dog comes in big time. If I feel sad my Top Dog tells me I 'should be' feeling better by now! If I feel confused I 'should understand what is going on and what to do' It is cruel, punishing at a time I most need compassion and understanding. I really like your description of Top Dog.
